Mark Tweedie is a West Australian artist whose work is characterised by themes of family, memory and ageing. He is particularly interested in exploring formative childhood years, connection to place, and lineage. Tweedie examines treasured family photographs to construct emotive and haunting narratives.
He exhibits nationally and has been a finalist in prominent art prizes including the Kilgour, the Blake, and the Sunshine Coast Art Prize. |
